(ELEPHANT AND CASTLE TOWN CENTRE) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER (No. 2) 2023

Southwark Council made the London Borough of Southwark (Elephant and Castle Town Centre) Compulsory Purchase Order (No.2) 2023 on 29 December 2023.   This CPO supersedes an earlier CPO, the London Borough of Southwark (Elephant and Castle Town Centre) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 which was made on 2 February 2023.  The February 2023 CPO was formally withdrawn by the Council following a 17 October 2023 resolution of its Cabinet.  The reasoning behind the withdrawal of the February 2023 CPO and the making of the new CPO can be found in the Council’s Cabinet Report at Core Document 1.04.1 on this website.

The Inquiry opened on 15th October 2024 at 10.00am at Room GB03, South Bank Technopark, 90 London Road, London SE1 6FE.
